Mushroom compost for sale
We now have mushroom compost available for delivery ONLY throughout the Tampa Bay area. Mushroom compost, also known as mushroom soil or spent mushroom waste, is a waste by-product from mushroom farming. This mixture is composed of many organic ingredients including peat moss, wheat straw, cottonseed meal, gypsum, lime, corncobs, horse stable bedding, and chicken litter. The smell is not for the faint of heart but this material will literally grow anything, with a few exceptions of course. Azaleas and other sensitive flowers should not be exposed to mushroom compost.
